John Milton on the Purpose of Education

I encourage every parent and teacher to consider deeply the purpose of education.

In this famous quote, John Milton reveals a profound insight into the true meaning and purpose of learning and education:

"The end of learning is to repair the ruin of our first parents

by regaining to know GOD aright,

and out of that knowledge

to love Him, to imitate Him, to be like Him." 

I challenge every parent to devote themselves to researching the Bible to find the true purpose and goal of education from the mouth of GOD Himself...

New Ministry Just Launching: Educating Generations for Christ

We are launching a new Christian education ministry called "Educating Generations for Christ." Our mission is to train, assist, and equip Christian parents, grandparents, and teachers for the work of educating future generations for Christ by following God's plan to perpetuate their faith and covenant with God through Kingdom Education. 

Educating Generations for Christ - is a PSALM 78 Multi-Generational Kingdom Education Training Ministry. 

Our motto is: "Parents, grandparents, and teachers passing the torch of faith to future generations..."

Removing Christians from Public Schools Will Save Our Children & Win the Culture War

Jesus Christ taught that we are to "render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's and to GOD the things that are God's,"

but today 90% of Christian parents are rendering to Caesar (the state) the things that belong to God, which include our precious children, the most treasured gifts that God has entrusted to our stewardship and discipleship!

Shockingly, 90% of Christian children are sent into the government's indoctrination camps called public schools by their Christian parents.

Tragically, as a direct result of these Christian parents neglecting and disobeying God's clear Biblical Education Mandate to give their children a thoroughly Christian education, to disciple them according to Christ, rather than conforming them to the world, we are losing 85% of Christian children to the world. Within two years of graduating from high school, 85% of these children will walk away from God, from their faith, and from the church.

Christians will NOT win the Culture War until they first REMOVE their children from government schools. Watch this short video and then pass it on to your family, friends, and most importantly, your pastor.

In this presentation ("Whoever Controls the School Controls the World"), dynamic speaker Dr. Voddie Baucham knows what most parents are too quick to dismiss: whoever is teaching our children is also discipling them. Truly, all education is religious, and education is discipleship.

Dr. Baucham persuasively argues that Christian parents need to take the initiative in their children's education and stop turning them over to the anti-God environment of the government school. Using Scripture, statistics, and sound reasoning, Dr. Baucham powerfully makes the case that whoever controls the schools does indeed control the world.

Listen to the words of that great leader of the Protestant Reformation, Martin Luther:

"I am afraid that schools will prove to be the great gates of hell unless they diligently labor in explaining the Holy Scriptures, engraving them in the hearts of youth. I advise no one to place his child where the Scriptures do not reign paramount. Every institution in which men are not increasingly occupied with the Word of God must become corrupt."

The Bible teaches that Christian parents have the God-given authority, duty, and responsibility to govern the education of their children and to make sure to give them a thoroughly Christ-centered Biblical worldview godly education. See Deuteronomy 6:5-7, Ephesians 6:4, Proverbs 1:8, Proverbs 22:6, and 2 Timothy 3:16-17.

The existence of anti-Christian secular humanist government schools is not the problem; the real issue is Christian parents using these ungodly schools to train their children. It is time for Christian parents to repent, turn away from this foolishness, remove their kids from the government indoctrination centers called "public schools," and take personal responsibility to truly educate their children according to Christ, either through homeschooling or through partnering with high quality Christian schools.
